ever get that nervous flutter when you’re facing a mountain of work ahead? raises hand yep, been there, felt that!

so, here i am, gearing up for this new personal project that’s totally uncharted territory for me. and to be real with you, the whole thing feels a bit daunting. sure, i’ve got a rough idea of what needs to be done, but diving in when you’ve never done something like this before? it’s like stepping into the unknown.

now, maybe you’re nodding along because you’ve got your own website update looming over you, but the mere thought of starting sends shivers down your spine because, honestly, where do you even begin?

no worries, though! unlike my personal project jitters, i’ve got your back!

here’s the game plan i’d suggest:

1. CREATE A PINTEREST BOARD: create a cohesive mood board with fonts, colors, layouts, and photos that match the aesthetic you want your website to emulate. use this as your compass, but do not forget to blend your personality into what you create. 
2. PICK YOUR FONTS: i’d recommend sticking to 3— title, subheader, and paragraph fonts!! psst, creative Market’s a goldmine for font hunting! 😉 
3. DECIDE ON YOUR COLORS: let your mood board guide you here. nail down a palette of 4-6 colors, mixing neutrals with pops of vibrant hues. and don’t forget the contrast for that extra oomph!
4. PICK YOUR WEBSITE TEMPLATE: if you need help picking a website template from the third story shop, let me know! i’m here for the recs 😉 
5. PLAN OUT YOUR CONTENT: map out your website’s pages, the glowing reviews you want to showcase, and those irresistible call-to-actions. trust me, this prep work pays off big time!
6. GATHER ALL YOUR PHOTOS & UPLOAD TO YOUR SHOWIT MEDIA LIBRARY: pro tip – get all your visuals in one spot early on. it’ll make customization a breeze later!
7. START CUSTOMIZING & HAVE FUN: if you need a tutorial while you’re working on customizing your template, let me know! i got you!! 
8. HIT PUBLISH: ANNNNND CELEBRATE YOUR ICONIC NEW LOOK!
